The harbour city of Pula in Croatia, May 5, 1998. The Amphitheatre is in a much better condition than its sister in Rome. Just across the road is where we fell off in the pouring rain the previous day. Marble sidewalks (and large bottles of wine! ed.)......NOT a good idea!! |
