| New Years Day 1997. What's the first thing the tourists do when they get somewhere? I decided to turn the tables on Donnie and Ryshard by taking a picture of the tourists taking pictures. Janine and Tarryn sat on the wall while they waited for us. This is the Praia do Xai-Xai (pronounced Shy-Shy), literally Xai-Xai Beach. The pale blue building in the distance was the beach front cafe and center of attraction for the holiday crowds an hour earlier when we first arrived. |
